Laura and Steve

Stratton Court Hotel, Gloucestershire October 2025

Autumnal weddings are in full flow and last weekend saw us playing at Stratton Court Hotel near Cirencester for Laura and Steve’s wedding! Laura chose Make You Feel My Love by Adele for her aisle song and we also arranged Blinding Lights which was fun for the register signing, along with the ever popular Yellow! They walked out to God Only Knows, another winner, before we relocated to the outside courtyard with our battery pack for the drinks reception. Hopefully that was the last outside one for 2025 as it was pretty cold, but we were warmed up by some delicious coffee brought to us by a lovely guest! Congrats to Laura and Steve, sending lots of love from us all at Fizz! X

Lauren and James

Syrencot, Wiltshire October 2025

What a wedding! Lovely to provide some mid week musical magic for James and Lauren at the beautiful Syrencot in Wiltshire! We had great fun putting this together with some lovely requests, I Wanna Be Yours by Arctic Monkeys for the Aisle Song, Taylor Swift’s You’re In Love and Something Just Like This for the Register signing followed by She’s Electric by Oasis for the Exit. Lauren did all the flowers herself and it was so different and stylish and absolutely stunning! What a talent! Thank you James and Lauren for booking us to be part of your special day!

Syrencot, Wiltshire

Syrencot, nestled in the Wiltshire countryside, is a wedding venue that feels like it’s been lifted straight from a romantic novel.

Gardens and Glasshouses

Its walled garden bursts with wildflowers and soft light, creating an almost secret-garden atmosphere for outdoor ceremonies, while the glasshouse glows like a jewel after dusk. The Georgian house itself blends rustic charm with quiet grandeur—think antique fireplaces, sweeping staircases, and views over rolling fields. What makes Syrencot especially magical is its sense of intimacy: it’s elegant without being ostentatious, secluded without feeling remote, and somehow manages to make every wedding feel both timeless and deeply personal.

Charlotte and Ronan

Mythe Barn, Leicestershire October 2025

Beautiful colourful Autumnal wedding at Mythe Barn this weekend for Ronan and Charlotte, friends of Sophie and Dan earlier in the year! Charlotte entered looking so gorgeous to the haunting sounds of Concerning Hobbits which always sets the atmosphere wonderfully! We followed this with Shallow and Perfect during the register signing before they walked out to I’m A Believer which we arranged specially for their big day! We then transferred to the bar during the photos where we played an upbeat set for the Drinks Reception where everyone sang along to Abba and all the bangers! There were some lovely touches at this beautiful wedding, not to mention the cutest wedding cake we ever saw, check the pictures! Congratulations Charlotte and Ronan, your vows were so lovely to each other, sending you so much love for your life together!

What a wonderful day we had today at the beautiful autumnal wedding of Louise and Nick at the utterly stunning Manor By The Lake in Cheltenham! After playing a Bridgerton set for Guest Arrival, we serenaded Louise and her bridesmaids down the aisle to the strains of A Thousand Years which is always a winner! During the register we played a rousing rendition of Danny Boy followed by the ever beautiful Over The Rainbow by Eva Cassidy. Louise and Nick took their first steps as man and wife to Shut Up and Dance which worked brilliantly. We then followed the ceremony with another set during the wedding breakfast where we played everything from Accidentally in Love to Zombie! We adored being part of this gorgeous wedding! Thank you Louise and Nick and the staff at Manor By The Lake for looking after us so well and making us feel so welcome! All the very best to the newly weds and enjoy Thailand! Felicity and Alex

St Peter's and St Paul's Church, Exton October 2025

Lovely day today at the beautiful wedding of Felicity and Alex at the church of St Peter and St Paul in Exton. Felicity entered in the most stunning dress to an arrangement she had sent us from TikTok of Concerning Hobbits. We already had this song in our repertoire but the version she wanted was so much better so we really enjoyed arranging it for her! We played You are the Reason, Biblical and Signed, Sealed and Delivered during the Register followed by another special request of the F1 Theme for the Exit song which worked absolutely brilliantly! Thank you Felicity for all your wonderful ideas! We really loved performing at this lovely wedding and send Felicity and Alex so much love for the future!! Congratulations guys!

Janine and Luke

Voco Hotel, Sandford on Thames September 2025

Last Saturday saw us venturing to the Voco Hotel in Sandford on Thames, Oxford for the beautiful wedding of Janine and Luke. Janine chose a classic programme for her entrance and exit songs, Pachelbel ‘s Canon and Mendelssohn’s Wedding March. For the register songs they chose All My Life which we arranged specially, All of Me and Can You Feel The Love Tonight. We then relocated to the Drinks Reception where we played for the cocktails – great fun! Janine and Luke are the most lovely couple and we wish them all our love for the future!

Voco Hotel, Sandford-on-Thames

Set on the banks of the River Thames amidst 30 acres of grounds, Voco Oxford Thames combines riverside romance, historic character, and modern flexibility.

Romantic riverside weddings

The hotel is fully licensed for civil ceremonies and can host everything from intimate weddings up to 200 guests. Their USP is that they are the only hotel in the county where you can arrive at your ceremony by boat!

Couples have multiple ceremony & reception options: The Little Barn, ideal for smaller gatherings, the Oxford Suite, overlooking meadows, the Conservatory, a bright, mixed old/new space, or outdoor (riverside) ceremonies, using a gazebo by the Thames (or even arriving by boat) for a dramatic, natural backdrop.

On the guest side, the venue has 104 bedrooms, so many guests can stay on site. The in-house catering is emphasized, with fresh, locally sourced menus.

The hotel also offers wedding packages (e.g. Timeless, Elegance, Enchanted) to bundle venue hire, food, décor and coordination.

Imogen and Remi

Eastwood Park, Gloucestershire September 2025

Another busy wedding weekend, starting with the beautiful wedding of Imogen and Remi at the stunning Eastwood Park. We were delighted to provide a bespoke package for them, playing a mixture of Bridgerton on the the violin and Ibiza chill on sax. Imogen had some special requests that we were happy to acvomodate, namely Dreams, The Only Exception and Love Story (Indila). We enjoyed taking requests from their guests too, one of the bonuses of having such a large repertoire! Imogen and Remi entered their wedding breakfast to the rousing sounds of Jubel and afterwards the lovely staff at Eastwood Park treated us to a delicious meal! We thoroughly enjoyed every minute of this wonderful wedding! Congratulations Imogen and Remi, wishing you all the very best from us all at Fizz! Xxxx

Eastwood Park, Gloucestershire

Eastwood Park is a 19th-century country house tucked into about 200 acres of South Gloucestershire countryside, on the edge of the Cotswolds — offering sweeping views across the Berkeley Vale and a sense of secluded elegance.

Create your perfect wedding

You can choose to be married indoors in the Drawing Room — which is licensed for civil ceremonies — or take advantage of their grounds to have an outdoor ceremony (weather and planning permitting). The “Terrace Room” is often used for wedding breakfasts; illuminated by chandeliers and enriched by original architectural features, it suits up to about 120 guests for a sit-down meal. For the evening party, the venue can expand to host up to 250 guests across its spaces.

One of Eastwood Park’s strengths is its flexible “classic vs creative” wedding packages. Couples can mix formal, traditional elements (canapés, a multi-course sit-down meal, formal drinks) with more relaxed, festival-style options (sharing plates, street-food style, BBQs). They also allow customization of drinks, evening additions (disco, photo booth, etc.), and more — it’s not “one size fits all.”

In short: Eastwood Park offers a blend of historic elegance, privacy through exclusive use, and enough flexibility to create a wedding that reflects your style — whether more formal or more relaxed.

Becky and Shane

Bourton Hall, Warwickshire September 2025

What a fantastic day at the wedding of Becky and Shane at Bourton Hall in Warwickshire! The venue looked absolutely stunning, with its amazing grounds and the gorgeous entrance hall. We particularly liked the Disney- themed welcome signs. The wedding itself took place in the chapel, and we kept the theme going with an acoustic version of Happily Ever After to accompany the bride’s entrance. Becky was delighted we could play this for her, and it could not have been a more perfect choice. We entertained the guests with Pachelbel’s Canon in D during the signing of the register, then played the wedding party out with Married Life, from the movie Up!

We then moved into the Grand Entrance Hall and performed a varied set of songs for the guests as they enjoyed their drinks and had photographs. We tried to play as much Disney as possible, along with some popular music from the 60s to the present day. It was wonderful to watch people dancing and singing along as we played!

Becky and Shane couldn’t stop smiling all day, and we were delighted to be a part of a truly special and memorable wedding! We wish them every happiness!

Bourton Hall, Warwickshire

Nestled in the rolling countryside of Warwickshire, Bourton Hall offers a wedding experience steeped in elegance, exclusivity, and timeless charm. Having only hosted its first weddings around 2020, the venue promises a fresh yet refined approach to celebrations, all under the principle of exclusive use.

Beautiful spaces, indoors and out

Couples may choose to say their vows in the former Catholic chapel—its marble-panelled walls, gold leaf ceiling, and balcony lend a uniquely dramatic and cinematic character to the ceremony. For milder weather, the portico adjoining the terrace provides a graceful outdoor alternative, framed by the stately facade of the hall itself.

After the ceremony, guests drift into the banqueting hall where sweeping valley views, period features, and classic architecture set the stage for a reception to match. Following dining, the celebrations continue in the Draycote Bar & Disco—a stylish, modern space that bridges the historic with the contemporary.

What makes Bourton Hall especially magical is the way it weaves the natural and the architectural into the wedding day. Its 15 acres of manicured gardens, parkland and woodland provide countless spots for romantic photo moments, while guests might enjoy cocktails on the main terrace or even a relaxed game of croquet during the reception. Meanwhile, for winter weddings, the hall’s interiors—with their warm lighting, fireplaces, and ambient space—offer an inviting refuge from the elements.
