The String Duo
Perfect for an accompaniment for a wedding ceremony, as background music for a Wedding Breakfast, or to create a beautiful atmosphere for your party or event. The violin duo play everything from classical to pop, with a repertoire of well over 300 songs to choose from. The sound of the violin adds a rich, soaring ambience to any room, and is particularly popular with brides for their entrance music.
The Instruments
Sam loves playing her specially made 5-string Violectra electric violin, and also uses her traditional acoustic instrument, too. Andy enjoys the versatility of his hybrid electric/acoustic PRS guitar, but can also switch to his acoustic instrument if required.
The Experience
We often use backing tracks in our performances. This allows us to cover a much wider range of styles, including pop covers and even rock classics! And because we create our own tracks, they fit seamlessly into our performances. However we love to play without tracks too! This gives us more flexibility and room to express ourselves.
