Live Instrumental Music for Weddings Fantastic With Fizz

Fantastic With Fizz Wedding Portfolio - page 2

Nessa and Joe

Capo Santo Fortunato Hotel, Sorrento, Italy September 2025

Fantastic with Fizz had the honour of performing at the most picturesque and beautiful wedding ever last weekend in Sorrento, Italy for Nessa and Joe! We flew out to Naples on the first flight of the day and were in situ ready to perform at the wonderful Capo Santo Fortunato Hotel at 4 pm! The brief was Bridgerton crossed with Dolce and Gabbana and it was the most elegant wedding we have ever seen! Everything was perfect from the view to the weather to the food to the music (even if we do say so ourselves!) After a Bridgerton set for the guest arrival, the Bridesmaids entered to Coldplays Yellow, appropriately dressed in yellow! Then it was Nessa’s turn, accompanied down the aisle by both her mother and father to a string cover of If I ain’t got you by Alicia Keys. After a moving service we all sang Can’t take my eyes off you as they took their first steps back down the aisle as man and wife! Italian weddings are very focused on the food and there were delicious canapés followed by an Italian buffet of meats and cheeses all to the strains of some romantic string covers. Finally there was a sit down 4 course meal which we were very kindly invited to! Nessa and Joe are the most wonderful couple and we wish them every happiness for their honeymoon and for their future life together back in London! Thank you so much for inviting us to be a part of your special day!

Capo Santa Fortunata, Sorrento

Capo Santa Fortunata is a romantic villa-style relais nestled between Sorrento and Massa Lubrense, perched above the sea with sweeping vistas of the Gulf of Naples and Mount Vesuvius.

The ultimate in Destination wedding venues

The gardens stretch across 10,000m² over three levels, with the upper tiers featuring a pool and panoramic sea views—a natural stage for outdoor ceremonies and receptions. The property is well suited for destination weddings: it allows symbolic and Anglican-style ceremonies, and offers indoor and sheltered spaces for reception dining when weather demands, including an internal hall/salone and a covered area capable of hosting up to around 200 people. For more intimate moments, ceremonies and dining for smaller parties (40 guests) can be accommodated inside its dining rooms.

Couples often tailor their celebrations to take full advantage of its setting—one wedding featured an outdoor ceremony beneath trees overlooking the sea, followed by dinner poolside and dancing under the stars, with Vesuvius as a dramatic backdrop. The villa’s staff collaborate with Bellevue Syrene’s kitchen, ensuring that the gastronomic side of the reception is seamless and curated to match the locale’s elegance.

In short: Capo Santa Fortunata offers that dreamy Italian villa wedding ambience—lush gardens, ocean views, flexibility of indoor/outdoor spaces, and an intimate but scalable layout that works beautifully for destination weddings.

Crockwell Farm, Daventry September 2025

Another beautiful wedding today for Alice and Chris at Crockwell Farm in Daventry! The weather held up and we used our battery pack for a colourful and vibrant outside ceremony followed by a stylish drinks reception! Alice entered to the beautiful aisle song, Video Games which is always a tear jerker and sets a wonderful atmosphere, followed by 3 register songs, God Only Knows, I can’t help falling in love and You’ll Never Walk Alone. They took their first steps as husband and wife to the strains of Are you ready for love before we relocated to the terrace for the Cocktails and Canapés where our brief was ABBA, Elton Jorn and Elvis. We had a great time at this lovely wedding and wish Alice and Chris every happiness for their future together!

Alice and Chris say:

“Beautiful music which transformed our ceremony and drinks reception! Sam and Andy were so easy to communicate our music preferences to, and truly elevated our ceremony to another level. We can’t thank them enough!”

Carlyon Bay Hotel, St Austell September 2025

More seaside sunshine at the wonderful wedding of Lauren and Steve at the beautiful Carlyon Bay Hotel in St Austell, Cornwall! Set on the cliffs overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, locations don’t come much more idyllic than this!
Lauren’s beautiful little bridesmaids walked down the aisle to Don’t Wanna Miss a Thing before Lauren entered, looking amazing to You are the Reason by Callum Scott. After the register song which was the theme from Bridgerton, it was time for the Exit song which was the Jurassic Park Theme tune. We then relocated to the bar terrace for a set of love songs as per Lauren’s brief followed by a classy Bridgerton set for the Wedding Breakfast! There were some lovely speeches, including one by Steve’s daughter who did an amazing job, reading some lovely words to her new step mum. We were then treated to some of the most delicious wedding cake we’ve ever tried! Thank you so much Lauren and Steve for inviting us to be part of your fantastic day! Congratulations and we wish you all the very best in your life together!

Lorelie and Owen

131, Cheltenham September 2025

A beautiful day today at the sophisticated wedding of Lorelie and Owen at the stylish 131 in Cheltenham, owned by Julian Dunkerton of Superdry fame! We played some string versions of well known wedding classics such as A Thousand Years and All of Me for the Guest Arrival followed by a special request from Lorelie for her Aisle Song – McFly’s All About You which worked brilliantly. Lorelie and Owen read each other some beautiful vows which brought tears to everyone’s eyes. The register song Still Into You was perfect for the venue before we played another special request of Queen’s Crazy Little Thing Called Love for the exit song.
We then relocated to the outside bar where we did a sax set for the drinks reception with everything from some upbeat classics to Ibiza chill.
We loved being a part of this super classy wedding and meeting some of their lovely guests and wish them both every happiness for the future! Congrats guys from everyone here at Fizz!

Lorelie and Owen say:

“Sam and Andy were absolutely fantastic! They played during our ceremony and drinks reception, and we were able to choose a few special songs that meant so much to us. Every other song they performed perfectly matched the vibe of the day and was loved by all our guests. Sam seamlessly switched between violin and saxophone, which complemented Andy on the guitar beautifully. Such talented musicians who created the perfect atmosphere, we couldn’t have asked for more, thank you!”

131 Cheltenham

No. 131, a striking Georgian townhouse on The Promenade in Cheltenham, offers an intimate yet elegant wedding setting that blends period charm with modern touches.

Eat, drink and be merry

The venue is licensed for civil ceremonies, and its Dining Room can accommodate up to 56 guests for daytime events.

Ceremonies usually take place in the Dining Room, followed by receptions that flow into the Lounge or out onto the terrace, giving couples a graceful indoor-outdoor sequence of spaces. Because of its boutique size and configuration, No. 131 is particularly suited to smaller / more intimate weddings.

One nice feature is that No. 131 also offers “whole house hire”, meaning you and your guests can have exclusive access to the property and its surroundings during your celebrations. Besides the main rooms, additional event spaces include the Gin & Juice garden terraces and Bar Tokyo (used mostly for pre- or post-ceremony drinks). After the celebration, your guests are already on site or nearby in one of its 36 boutique bedrooms spread across three Georgian buildings.

Food is central to the experience: the in-house team works with couples to craft bespoke menus (from canapés to late-night bites), using seasonal and locally sourced ingredients. In weddings shown in real-wedding features, the architectural details of the Georgian interiors, large sash windows, and the leafy streets outside become key backdrops in couples’ imagery.

Jade and Nedzer

Celtic Manor Resort, Newport September 2025

Wow, wow, wow!!! So thrilled to be part of the spectacular wedding of Jade and Nedzer at the Celtic Manor Hotel in Newport! What a day!! Everything was utterly stunning from the bride to the decoration to the food! Jade entered in the most amazing dress to I See The Light from Tangled in homage to their first introduction at Disneyland! We played At Last and This Will Be during the signing of the register before a rousing rendition of Signed, Sealed, Delivered as the Exit Song. We then relocated to the terrace outside with our battery pack where we played an upbeat set whilst the guests (and us!) enjoyed some Welsh Cakes and ice cream! Then it was time for the lavish dinner where we continued with a Bridgerton set, adding to the very regal atmosphere. This really was a wedding to remember and we wish Jade and Nedzer and all their wonderful family all the very best for the future!

Celtic Manor Resort

Perched in the lush Usk Valley near Newport, Celtic Manor Resort is a grand, multi-venue destination that can suit everything from intimate gatherings to large, extravagant weddings

Luxury in abundance

What sets the Celtic Manor apart is the abundance of choices for couples: you can exchange vows in its elegant Manor House (with rooms like Hedleys for small ceremonies or the Manor Suite for larger ones), or go big in the Resort Hotel’s Caernarfon Ballroom, accommodating hundreds under chandeliers and soaring ceilings.

For receptions and celebrations, there is flexibility across suites (Beaumaris, Rooftop Garden & Terrace, etc.) that allow indoor-outdoor flow and stylish backdrops. The resort also offers a suite of wedding packages (True Indulgence, Heritage Luxury, Moonlit Magic, etc.) that bundle room hire, meals, drinks, lighting, and bespoke finishing touches, giving couples a foundation to build upon. One of their special offers, for example, includes complimentary venue hire, sparkling wine on arrival, 3-course wedding breakfast, wine, prosecco, evening buffet, and accommodation for the couple.

Another strengths is capacity and scalability: Celtic Manor is licensed to host civil ceremonies across multiple spaces throughout the resort, so whether your guest list is modest or ambitious (up to 900 in some settings) you’ll find a fit. The venue also handles the logistical side—from event coordination, in-house caterers, preferred suppliers, and optional enhancements (lighting, décor, entertainment) — allowing couples to focus more on the celebration and less on the details.

Jordan and Alan

Newcastle Cathedral August 2025

We had an early start on Saturday before driving to Newcastle for Jordan and Alan’s wedding, and what a wedding it was! Newcastle Cathedral looked utterly stunning, decked out with pink blossom trees brought in especially for the occasion. We played a Bridgerton string set during the guest arrival before the bridesmaids entered to Lifetime by Justin Bieber. Jordan then entered to a special arrangement of Taylor Swift’s Crazier which worked brilliantly on the violin! After a lucky dip to choose which of the guests would do the reading (brilliant touch!) we played Perfect during the signing of the register before the Exit song which was Accidentally in Love!
After the Ceremony we relocated to the very classy rooftop bar Above at the top of the Vermont Hotel with fabulous views of the city! Here we did an upbeat sax set which had everyone singing along with all the faves like ABBA, Hungry Eyes, Careless Whisper, Angels and then shaking up the vibe some more with some Ibiza chill with Jubel, Freed from Desire and Mr Saxobeat. We were treated afterwards to a lovely Thai curry in the restaurant which was lovely! Jordan and Alan are the most lovely couple, we thoroughly enjoyed every single minute of this very special wedding and wish them every happiness for the future.

Jordan and Alan say:

“Wow wow wow, we got married in Newcastle Cathedral followed by the Vermont Hotel on Sunday and Sam and Andy were nothing short of magical. Our guests loved their enchanting melodies in the ceremony followed by gorgeous violin and sax tunes at our rooftop reception.
Atmosphere was the most important thing to us for our day and we are so overjoyed to have found these two – they are the definition of ambiance and our guests were in absolute awe. Walking into our ceremony with their beautiful arrangement of “Lifetime” and “Crazier” on violin and guitar is a memory that will stay with me for the rest of my life. Book these two, you will not regret it – live musicians will bring so much more to your special day than trends like welcome signs or flip flops ever will. These two are complete pros and I’ll always be grateful for how they made us/our guests feel and the tone they they brought to such a beautiful occasion – their music is now part of the soundtrack that plays in our heads when we remember the happiest day of our lives and always will be ♥️”

Newcastle-on-Tyne Cathederal and Vermont Hotel

Newcastle Cathedral

Newcastle Cathedral, formally the Cathedral Church of St Nicholas, is a Grade I listed Church of England building right in the heart of Newcastle’s city centre, combining centuries of history with a spiritual presence that many couples find meaningful. Marrying there means engaging with both the architecture and the ecclesiastical traditions: you or your partner must have a connection with the cathedral parish (or commit to regular worship for six months and apply to join the Electoral Roll) as part of the eligibility process. The cathedral offers several spaces for ceremonies, including the Nave, which accommodates large congregations, as well as the South Transept, St George’s Chapel, or Eastern Chapels for more intimate services (about up to 50 guests in those smaller areas). While it is primarily a place of worship, the cathedral also handles “life events” like weddings and blessings, offering couples the possibility of a deeply spiritual service in a dramatic, sacred setting. Because the cathedral itself does not have large reception or banquet facilities, most couples will host the post-ceremony celebrations elsewhere. In fact, in wedding write-ups, it’s common to see couples exchange vows at the cathedral and then move on to a reception venue in the surrounding region.

The Vermont Hotel

The Vermont Hotel in Newcastle upon Tyne positions itself as a refined, glamorous wedding venue combining art deco elegance, urban sophistication, and panoramic city views. Its Ballroom—originally part of the County of Northumberland Council Chambers—serves as a showpiece space, while its Sky Lounge & Garden offer a rooftop setting with 360° vistas over the city’s skyline, bridges, and river.

The Vermont offers multiple suites / event spaces—seven in total—allowing weddings from intimate to more sizable affairs (dinner capacity up to 160) in different styles. One package provides that the Ballroom, Gold Room, and Redwood Bar are among the principal spaces used — with the Gold Room offering an elegant, light-filled option with views, and Redwood acting as an atmospheric lounge for drinks or welcome receptions.

Couples are supported by a dedicated wedding team, and the venue emphasizes personalization: you’re not limited to one “set style.” The Vermont’s in-house catering team creates visually exciting but honest dishes, and there’s a rooftop terrace (“Above”) for dramatic photography, reception drinks, or ceremony enhancements.

Theona and Josh

Llantilio House, Abergavenny August 2025

Another busy wedding weekend for us with the stunning wedding of Theona and Josh at Llantilio House in Abergavenny with beautiful views over the Welsh countryside. We played outside under the pear tree whilst Theona entered looking classy and elegant to A Sky Full of Stars. During the register we had arranged Dive by Ed Sheeran especially for the happy couple which was a real find for us and has quickly become one of our favourites! After the emotional Ceremony we played Die With A Smile for the exit song before relocating to the outside terrace to play a sophisticated Bridgerton set for the Drinks Reception. This was a truly beautiful wedding and send Theona and Josh all our congratulations and best wishes for the rest of their lives together.

Theona and Josh say:

“After meeting Sam and Andy at a wedding fayre we instantly booked them to be a part of our special day! They played before, during and after the ceremony and were utterly fantastic! The talent that they have is phenomenal. Each song was distinctly recognisable and possibly better than the original! All of our guest and photographer commented on how great they were! We are so glad we booked and would recommend to anyone who is getting married! Absolutely amazing!”

Llantilio House, Abergavenny

Llantilio House lives at the intersection of rustic farm heritage and refined luxury. Nestled in 200 acres of Monmouthshire countryside, it’s a Grade II-listed farm that’s been lovingly restored for weddings and celebrations.

Magical rural retreat

The venue is offered on an exclusive hire basis so that couples and guests have full access to all parts of the estate: ceremony barns, party barns, gardens, accommodation, and even a natural, year-round heated pool & spa. In terms of accommodation, Llantilio House includes nine double bedrooms (across the farmhouse, granary, Bull House, Brew House) accommodating about 18-20 guests. They supplement that with glamping options during summer, and sometimes extra cottages nearby.

A couple of charming extra touches: terraces of wildflower plantings lead down toward the River Trothy valley, offering scenic photography vistas. Also, the team emphasises sustainability—Llantilio House has undertaken restoration using eco-conscious methods, with heat pumps, natural water filtration for the pool, and aims toward carbon-negative operation

Natalie and Ben

Abel's Harp, Shrewsbury August 2025

We had an amazing time at the fantastic wedding of Natalie and Ben at Abel’s Harp in Shrewsbury! This was such a picturesque setting on the top of the hill with the most incredible views over the English countryside, with llamas roaming the fields, watching the celebrations!
For the Guest Arrival we played some upbeat songs that Natalie requested, including the late 80’s hit Heaven Is A Place On Earth. Natalie entered, looking utterly exquisite to the Bridgerton version of Wrecking Ball followed by Still Into You and Until I Found You during the signing of the register. The exit song was Don’t Stop Me Now by Queen which set the mood for a fabulous drinks reception! We played lots of upbeat songs here with everything from Pink Pony Club to Can’t Take My Eyes Off You! There was truly something for everyone! We were looked after so well at this lovely wedding and very much appreciated a delicious pizza that they thoughtfully provided for us! So much love for this wedding and couple, we know they are going to be so happy together!
