Jen and Huw
Old Gore Barn, Cirencester August 2025
We were over the moon to provide a Gold Package for Jen and Huw’s magnificent wedding at Old Gore Barn in Cirencester. It was our first visit to this venue and it was absolutely gorgeous! Beautiful floral displays adorned the Ceremony room and there was a huge bbq outside where they cooked some delicious lamb (and very kindly gave us some at the end – amazing!)
We loved Jen and Huw’s request for a country theme and really enjoyed putting a set together for them with lots of Country Classics. Jen’s bridesmaids entered first to Until I Found You which we then blended into Cover Me Up by Morgan Wallen which set the tone beautifully! We played Canol Lan in homage to Huw’s Welsh roots during the resister signing before playing them out to Everywhere by Fleetwood Mac which was right up Andy’s street! We then relocated during the confetti shots to the drinks reception where we performed a country set with songs such as Life With You, That’s What Love Is, Amazed and Something In The Orange. We finished off playing during the wedding breakfast before settling down to a perfect meal of the bbq’d lamb which was utterly superb! We really loved this wedding, it was a real honour to play for Jen and Huw and we with them every happiness in their future together.
Jen and Huw say:
“They were an incredible duo—truly unforgettable! Our day wouldn’t have been the same without them. They took the time to understand exactly what we envisioned and crafted a setlist that captured our tastes and created the perfect vibe for our wedding at Old Gore Barn. We’re beyond grateful!”
Old Gore Barn, Cirencester
Old Gore Barn, nestled in the Cotswolds near Cirencester (Calmsden, Gloucestershire), is a beautifully renovated barn venue that combines rustic charm with modern flair.
Old and new combine perfectly
Old Gore Barn is licensed for civil ceremonies with a capacity of around 120 guests. For dining, their “long barn” can host up to about 150 people, and for evening receptions they accommodate up to 200. Couples can say their vows indoors—often in front of a wood-burning stove, enveloped by exposed beams, greenery, and Crittall-style doors that introduce light and openness. There’s also a woodland glade option or outdoor setting, which gives flexibility depending on weather or preference.
One of Old Gore’s signature draws is a street-food / fire-kitchen approach. Think open flames, Argentine Asado fire pits, pizza ovens, BBQs, and creative menus rather than the stereotypical formal sit-down dinner. Night-time food is also part of the party, with offerings like burgers, bao buns, late-night doughnuts, etc. The barn has been renovated to feel warm and atmospheric but with contemporary touches. Underfloor heating, roaring fires, ambient lighting, and open design make it as comfortable and flexible as it is dramatic.

Bess and Barnaby
The Restoration Yard, Dalkeith August 2025
Haggis and bagpipes were the order of the day at the wonderful wedding of Bess and Barnaby (and Bruno!) in Edinburgh! Bess entered in the most stunning dress to the beautiful song Photograph by Ed Sheeran. During the signing of the register we played a Scottish reel which we arranged specially and also a tongue in cheek rendition of Writing’s on the Wall! We then relocated to the beautiful courtyard where we played a set of traditional ceilidh music which worked brilliantly and was something a bit different for us! We then played a more melodic set to set the ambience for the Wedding Breakfast! We thoroughly enjoyed this wedding and wish Bess and Barnaby all the best for their honeymoon in Greece and their future life together! Congrats, guys!
Lucy and Josh
Temple of Peace, Cardiff August 2025
Last weekend saw us at the beautiful venue of Temple of the Peace in Cardiff for the wedding of Lucy and Josh. There were lots of requests for this wedding which we had great fun putting together from the F1 theme song to music by The Kooks!
Lucy is a big Swiftie and she and her Bridesmaids entered to an accoustic version of Love Story. The exit song was I wanna hold you hand.
The ceremony was followed by a delightful afternoon tea where we entertained with more Taylor Swift and other pop songs played in a classical style, a lovely Bridgerton vibe!
We wish Lucy and Josh all the best for a happy future together!
Kelly and Paul
Great Baddow, Chelmsford August 2025
The sun was shining for the fabulous wedding of Kelly and Paul in Great Baddow! They booked us for our Gold Package, with a violin/sax combo, providing music for the Ceremony, Drinks Reception and Wedding Breakfast. We started with violin for the Ceremony, including Kelly’s entrance. She walked down the aisle (looking utterly gorgeous) to A Moment Like This which is not one we’ve played for an entrance before, but what a brilliant choice! The hairs were standing up on our arms whilst we were playing and there was not a dry eye in the house! We then played You Raise Me Up as a feature of the service which was a lovely touch, before they walked out together to From This Moment On by Shania Twain. We then relocated to the Reception venue which was truly amazing. Just across the road from the church was Russell’s Restaurant which they had booked exclusively for the day, and what a day it was! It was decorated so beautifully in dark green and gold and the food was out of this world! We played a sax set whilst people had some canapés and cocktails before providing some background violin for the meal. The icing on the cake for us was being provided with a fantastic 3 course meal!! As suppliers, you often set up 2 hours before the wedding, maybe from 10 am and if you finish after the drinks or meal, you have definitely missed lunch and it’s not always easy to find a place that’s serving food at that time nearby so we really appreciated Kelly and Paul’s generosity, especially as the food was so delicious and highly rated! We sat with the photographers, Liam Galvin and James who taught us how to do our first tik tok video which was fun! We were so honoured to be part of this stunning wedding, Kelly and Paul, thank you so much for looking after us so well, we wish you every possible happiness for your future together!
Sophie and Dan
Naas Court Farm, Lydney August 2025
Big, lovely wedding weekend for us starting with Sophie and Dan at Naas Court Farm in the beautiful Forest of Dean! What a hidden gem this was! Fresh flowers and a summery vibe were the order of the day -everything was perfect! We did a violin/sax combo package, starting with violin for the guest arrival and Ceremony. Sophie entered through the glass doors looking amazing to Ordinary by Alex Warren. We played for the register signing before exiting to the joyful and jubilant Marry You! We then relocated to the garden for the drinks reception where we entertained the guests for almost 2 hours with some great chill sax songs, everything from Jubel to Mr Saxobeat! We also debuted Careless Whisper which has a brilliant sax solo which was so fun to play! We love our job so much, it’s such an honour to provide the musical soundscape to people’s special day! We know that Sophie and Dan are going to be so happy, travelling the world and having so many adventures, sending them so much love for their life together!

Rustic beauty and a warm welcome
What’s compelling about Naas Court for weddings is its mix of rustic authenticity and modern capability. The venue offers exclusive use, giving couples privacy to shape their day without competing events. Two of its licensed ceremony spaces include the East Barn (capacity 150) and the South Cart Shed (capacity 84).
In terms of scale and flexibility, Naas Court can host up to about 130 guests for seated dining (using 12 round tables plus a top table) and accommodates up to 200 guests for evening receptions. The hire includes early access (setup from 10:00 the day before) and coverage on the wedding day until midnight (with optional late licences).
Because it is set in rural Gloucestershire between the Forest of Dean and the River Severn, it offers scenic surroundings for photography and outdoor mingling, with the footprint of the historic barn providing dramatic interior backdrops. One real wedding described how even in heavy rain, the barn’s light and charm made indoor shots work beautifully and kept the atmosphere alive.
Evanne and Jamie
St. Audrie's Park, North Devon August 2025
A fabulous return to one of our favourite venues, St. Audrie’s in North Devon, for the wedding of Evanne and Jamie. What a wonderful day! Evanne looked absolutely stunning walking in to a beautiful rendition of Happily Ever After by Brent Morgan. Her fairytale dress looked gorgeous and we loved the outfit even more when we realised she had her crocs on underneath! The Orangery looked fantastic, decked out in pinks and greens, and after the ceremony we played them out to This Will Be by Natalie Cole. During the confetti shots we relocated into the gardens for the outdoor drinks reception. Luckily the sun shone after the recent unpredictable weather and we played lots of upbeat tunes which was right up Andy’s street, with everything from Moves like Jagger to Dua Lipa’s Levitating. We had so much fun at this beautiful wedding, and wish Evanne and Jamie every happiness for their future!
St Audrie's Park
One of our favourite wedding venues, St Audrie’s Park is a magical place with a huge variety of wonderful settings, indoor and out – the perfect backdrop for a perfect day.
Country house luxury
The Great Hall gives a magical ‘Harry Potter style’ welcome with double-height vaulted ceiling, enormous feature fireplace and a minstrels’ gallery. Guests can enjoy this space throughout your day and relax on the sofas.
The Library houses the ornate solid-oak, hand-carved dining table ‒ perfect for displaying photos of the couple or maybe games to keep younger guests amused. The gilded Drawing Room has its own baby grand piano, as well as a famous ornate ceiling known as the ‘Burst of Angels’. Couples often choose to display their wedding cake in the bay window, with the Orangery visible across the lawn behind.
There are two bars in the main house. The Cocktail Bar is used to keep guests refreshed throughout your day, whilst the Champagne Bar is adjacent to the disco for your evening party. The DJ is included but a playlist can be created to ensure your musical tastes are adhered to on the day.
Outside you cannot help but be blown away by the 100-acre deer park and the rolling hills around you. One of the best things about this venue is the serene and picturesque setting that never fails to amaze guests from the moment they arrive. Visit https://www.audries-park.co.uk/ for details.
Aquinatta and Conor
Larchfield Estate, Lisburn, Northern Ireland July 2025
Zambia and Northern Ireland came together this weekend at the wonderful union of Conor and Aquinatta in Belfast at the beautiful Larchfield Estate! Fantastic with Fizz were delighted to be booked for a full day package and what a day it was! Aquinatta was truly a stunning bride, entering to the most gorgeous song, The Best Part by Savy Henry which we arranged specially with the lyrics. We arranged a few other requests too which was fun, Jay Z’s Young Forever and For My Hand by Burna Boy ft Ed Sheeran. We love doing requests for people and finding musical gems that we may not have come across before! We then relocated during the confetti shots to play for the Drinks Reception where we mixed up the vibe with a few upbeat sax numbers before taking our seats again for the Wedding Breakfast with our Bridgerton set back on the violin. We were so honoured to be part of this amazing wedding and wish Conor and Aqua all the very best for their future together.

Sian and Tom
Crown and Sandy's, Omberdsley July 2025
We had the best time providing a Gold package for Sian and Tom’s beautiful wedding at Crown and Sandy’s in Omberdsley! It was the most amazing day, the ceremony speeches were so heartfelt and the dinner speeches were really funny, we had a delicious picnic provided and to top it all off we almost got matching tattoos! We played Can’t Help Falling In Love With You as Penny, a beautiful black lab made her entrance as the first of the Bridal Party! She was followed by the gorgeous bridesmaids dressed in forest green before Sian entered, looking absolutely stunning!
We then relocated to the garden for the drinks reception with an upbeat set using our battery power before playing for the Wedding Breakfast where Sian had selected our jukebox option.
Afterwards guests were treated to free tattoos which we had never seen before which was brilliant fun!
We had the best day and could feel the love in the room and know that Sian and Tom (and Penny!) are going to have the most wonderful, happy life together!
Sian and Tom say:
“Sam and Andy were just amazing, they were so easy to book with and communicated everything brilliantly.
Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how magnificent the music was, Sam and Andy really made the wedding feel so special, words can’t describe how beautiful the sound was, walking down the aisle was out of this world with them playing, it made the whole experience feel more personal and so full of love.
The juke box during the wedding breakfast was also amazing, as was the music outside during our drinks reception, people have continued to comment on how beautiful it was to sit and listen to.
Cannot recommend Fantastic With Fizz highly enough, I am so very glad that we booked them to be part of our special day, just wish we could do it all over again!!
So much love from Sian and Tom xxx”
