Laura and Wayne: Clearwell Castle, Gloucestershire November 2025

The Christmas vibes were in full force at the beautifully festive wedding of Laura and Wayne at Clearwell Castle! After playing a guest arrival set, Laura entered, looking sparkly and stunning to Ed Sheeran’s Joker and the Queen which set the tone for a ceremony that pulled at everyone’s heartstrings. During the Register we played A SKy Full of Stars before playing the happy couple out to You’ve got the love. Then it was all change for an upbeat Sax set for the drinks reception, where we had everyone dancing along with everything from Shania’s Man I Feel Like A Woman to Robbie’s Angels! Then it was back to violin for the Wedding Breakfast where we played a classy Bridgerton set along with some festive favourites! Laura and Steve: Stratton Court Hotel, Gloucestershire October 2025

Autumnal weddings are in full flow and last weekend saw us playing at Stratton Court Hotel near Cirencester for Laura and Steve’s wedding! Laura chose Make You Feel My Love by Adele for her aisle song and we also arranged Blinding Lights which was fun for the register signing, along with the ever popular Yellow! They walked out to God Only Knows, another winner, before we relocated to the outside courtyard with our battery pack for the drinks reception. Hopefully that was the last outside one for 2025 as it was pretty cold, but we were warmed up by some delicious coffee brought to us by a lovely guest! Congrats to Laura and Steve, sending lots of love from us all at Fizz! X

Louise and Nick: Manor by the Lake, Cheltenham October 2025

What a wonderful day we had today at the beautiful autumnal wedding of Louise and Nick at the utterly stunning Manor By The Lake in Cheltenham! After playing a Bridgerton set for Guest Arrival, we serenaded Louise and her bridesmaids down the aisle to the strains of A Thousand Years which is always a winner! During the register we played a rousing rendition of Danny Boy followed by the ever beautiful Over The Rainbow by Eva Cassidy. Louise and Nick took their first steps as man and wife to Shut Up and Dance which worked brilliantly. We then followed the ceremony with another set during the wedding breakfast where we played everything from Accidentally in Love to Zombie! We adored being part of this gorgeous wedding! Thank you Louise and Nick and the staff at Manor By The Lake for looking after us so well and making us feel so welcome! All the very best to the newly weds and enjoy Thailand! Love from us all at Fizz x

Imogen and Remi: Eastwood Park, Gloucestershire September 2025

Another busy wedding weekend, starting with the beautiful wedding of Imogen and Remi at the stunning Eastwood Park. We were delighted to provide a bespoke package for them, playing a mixture of Bridgerton on the the violin and Ibiza chill on sax. Imogen had some special requests that we were happy to acvomodate, namely Dreams, The Only Exception and Love Story (Indila). We enjoyed taking requests from their guests too, one of the bonuses of having such a large repertoire! Imogen and Remi entered their wedding breakfast to the rousing sounds of Jubel and afterwards the lovely staff at Eastwood Park treated us to a delicious meal! We thoroughly enjoyed every minute of this wonderful wedding! Congratulations Imogen and Remi, wishing you all the very best from us all at Fizz! Xxxx

Eastwood Park, Gloucestershire

Eastwood Park is a 19th-century country house tucked into about 200 acres of South Gloucestershire countryside, on the edge of the Cotswolds — offering sweeping views across the Berkeley Vale and a sense of secluded elegance.

Create your perfect wedding

You can choose to be married indoors in the Drawing Room — which is licensed for civil ceremonies — or take advantage of their grounds to have an outdoor ceremony (weather and planning permitting). The “Terrace Room” is often used for wedding breakfasts; illuminated by chandeliers and enriched by original architectural features, it suits up to about 120 guests for a sit-down meal. For the evening party, the venue can expand to host up to 250 guests across its spaces.

One of Eastwood Park’s strengths is its flexible “classic vs creative” wedding packages. Couples can mix formal, traditional elements (canapés, a multi-course sit-down meal, formal drinks) with more relaxed, festival-style options (sharing plates, street-food style, BBQs). They also allow customization of drinks, evening additions (disco, photo booth, etc.), and more — it’s not “one size fits all.”

In short: Eastwood Park offers a blend of historic elegance, privacy through exclusive use, and enough flexibility to create a wedding that reflects your style — whether more formal or more relaxed.

Lorelie and Owen: 131 Cheltenham September 2025

A beautiful day today at the sophisticated wedding of Lorelie and Owen at the stylish 131 in Cheltenham, owned by Julian Dunkerton of Superdry fame! We played some string versions of well known wedding classics such as A Thousand Years and All of Me for the Guest Arrival followed by a special request from Lorelie for her Aisle Song – McFly’s All About You which worked brilliantly. Lorelie and Owen read each other some beautiful vows which brought tears to everyone’s eyes. The register song Still Into You was perfect for the venue before we played another special request of Queen’s Crazy Little Thing Called Love for the exit song.
We then relocated to the outside bar where we did a sax set for the drinks reception with everything from some upbeat classics to Ibiza chill.
We loved being a part of this super classy wedding and meeting some of their lovely guests and wish them both every happiness for the future! Congrats guys from everyone here at Fizz!

Lorelie and Owen say:

“Sam and Andy were absolutely fantastic! They played during our ceremony and drinks reception, and we were able to choose a few special songs that meant so much to us. Every other song they performed perfectly matched the vibe of the day and was loved by all our guests. Sam seamlessly switched between violin and saxophone, which complemented Andy on the guitar beautifully. Such talented musicians who created the perfect atmosphere, we couldn’t have asked for more, thank you!”

131 Cheltenham

No. 131, a striking Georgian townhouse on The Promenade in Cheltenham, offers an intimate yet elegant wedding setting that blends period charm with modern touches.

Eat, drink and be merry

The venue is licensed for civil ceremonies, and its Dining Room can accommodate up to 56 guests for daytime events.

Ceremonies usually take place in the Dining Room, followed by receptions that flow into the Lounge or out onto the terrace, giving couples a graceful indoor-outdoor sequence of spaces. Because of its boutique size and configuration, No. 131 is particularly suited to smaller / more intimate weddings.

One nice feature is that No. 131 also offers “whole house hire”, meaning you and your guests can have exclusive access to the property and its surroundings during your celebrations. Besides the main rooms, additional event spaces include the Gin & Juice garden terraces and Bar Tokyo (used mostly for pre- or post-ceremony drinks). After the celebration, your guests are already on site or nearby in one of its 36 boutique bedrooms spread across three Georgian buildings.

Food is central to the experience: the in-house team works with couples to craft bespoke menus (from canapés to late-night bites), using seasonal and locally sourced ingredients. In weddings shown in real-wedding features, the architectural details of the Georgian interiors, large sash windows, and the leafy streets outside become key backdrops in couples’ imagery.

Jen and Huw: Old Gore Barn, Cirencester August 2025

We were over the moon to provide a Gold Package for Jen and Huw’s magnificent wedding at Old Gore Barn in Cirencester. It was our first visit to this venue and it was absolutely gorgeous! Beautiful floral displays adorned the Ceremony room and there was a huge bbq outside where they cooked some delicious lamb (and very kindly gave us some at the end – amazing!)
We loved Jen and Huw’s request for a country theme and really enjoyed putting a set together for them with lots of Country Classics. Jen’s bridesmaids entered first to Until I Found You which we then blended into Cover Me Up by Morgan Wallen which set the tone beautifully! We played Canol Lan in homage to Huw’s Welsh roots during the resister signing before playing them out to Everywhere by Fleetwood Mac which was right up Andy’s street! We then relocated during the confetti shots to the drinks reception where we performed a country set with songs such as Life With You, That’s What Love Is, Amazed and Something In The Orange. We finished off playing during the wedding breakfast before settling down to a perfect meal of the bbq’d lamb which was utterly superb! We really loved this wedding, it was a real honour to play for Jen and Huw and we with them every happiness in their future together.

Jen and Huw say:

“They were an incredible duo—truly unforgettable! Our day wouldn’t have been the same without them. They took the time to understand exactly what we envisioned and crafted a setlist that captured our tastes and created the perfect vibe for our wedding at Old Gore Barn. We’re beyond grateful!”

Old Gore Barn, Cirencester

Old Gore Barn, nestled in the Cotswolds near Cirencester (Calmsden, Gloucestershire), is a beautifully renovated barn venue that combines rustic charm with modern flair.

Old and new combine perfectly

Old Gore Barn is licensed for civil ceremonies with a capacity of around 120 guests. For dining, their “long barn” can host up to about 150 people, and for evening receptions they accommodate up to 200. Couples can say their vows indoors—often in front of a wood-burning stove, enveloped by exposed beams, greenery, and Crittall-style doors that introduce light and openness. There’s also a woodland glade option or outdoor setting, which gives flexibility depending on weather or preference.

One of Old Gore’s signature draws is a street-food / fire-kitchen approach. Think open flames, Argentine Asado fire pits, pizza ovens, BBQs, and creative menus rather than the stereotypical formal sit-down dinner. Night-time food is also part of the party, with offerings like burgers, bao buns, late-night doughnuts, etc. The barn has been renovated to feel warm and atmospheric but with contemporary touches. Underfloor heating, roaring fires, ambient lighting, and open design make it as comfortable and flexible as it is dramatic.

Sophie and Dan: Naas Court Farm, Lydney August 2025

Big, lovely wedding weekend for us starting with Sophie and Dan at Naas Court Farm in the beautiful Forest of Dean! What a hidden gem this was! Fresh flowers and a summery vibe were the order of the day -everything was perfect! We did a violin/sax combo package, starting with violin for the guest arrival and Ceremony. Sophie entered through the glass doors looking amazing to Ordinary by Alex Warren. We played for the register signing before exiting to the joyful and jubilant Marry You! We then relocated to the garden for the drinks reception where we entertained the guests for almost 2 hours with some great chill sax songs, everything from Jubel to Mr Saxobeat! We also debuted Careless Whisper which has a brilliant sax solo which was so fun to play! We love our job so much, it’s such an honour to provide the musical soundscape to people’s special day! We know that Sophie and Dan are going to be so happy, travelling the world and having so many adventures, sending them so much love for their life together!

Naas Court Farm, Lydney

Naas Court Farm is a Grade II Listed, 16th-century barn venue on the outskirts of Lydney, Gloucestershire. A family-run business, you are sure of an amazing welcome at this exclusive venue!

Rustic beauty and a warm welcome

What’s compelling about Naas Court for weddings is its mix of rustic authenticity and modern capability. The venue offers exclusive use, giving couples privacy to shape their day without competing events. Two of its licensed ceremony spaces include the East Barn (capacity 150) and the South Cart Shed (capacity 84).

In terms of scale and flexibility, Naas Court can host up to about 130 guests for seated dining (using 12 round tables plus a top table) and accommodates up to 200 guests for evening receptions. The hire includes early access (setup from 10:00 the day before) and coverage on the wedding day until midnight (with optional late licences).

Because it is set in rural Gloucestershire between the Forest of Dean and the River Severn, it offers scenic surroundings for photography and outdoor mingling, with the footprint of the historic barn providing dramatic interior backdrops. One real wedding described how even in heavy rain, the barn’s light and charm made indoor shots work beautifully and kept the atmosphere alive.

Lauren and Damien: Owlpen Manor, Gloucestershire May 2025

Fantastic With Fizz had the honour of being the daytime wedding musicians for Lauren and Damien at Owlpen Manor. Lauren looked beautifully radiant as she walked down the aisle to meet her Flight Lieutenant fiancé Damien who was an imposing figure with his uniformed groomsmen to the classical sounds of Canon in D. Their musical taste was broad with requests for JSBach to Bridgerton to Einaudi with some Game of Thrones and Harry Potter thrown in and we were more than happy to accommodate along with one of our favourites, Toda va estar bien which means “everything is going to be great!” which is beautiful, underrated song for a wedding in case anyone wants to check it out!

We then relocated during the confetti shots to the gorgeous gardens of Owlpen Manor where we played a more upbeat and contemporary set with songs from Rather Be to Pink Pony Club! We had the best time and wish Lauren and Damien and their lovely girls all the happiness in the world!

Lauren and Damien say:

“Sam and Andy played at Owlpen Manor for our ceremony and drinks reception, just WOW, they were truly incredible from start to finish! We couldn’t have wished for better musicians. They played for our guests arriving at the church and also our hymns, which gave it that special touch. 1000% recommend! Thank you again, you were both brilliant xxxxx “

Owlpen Manor

Owlpen Manor is a stunning Cotswolds wedding venue hidden in its own private valley and described as “a paradise incomparable on earth”, by great poet Algernon Charles Swinburne.

Stunning Cotswolds scenic venue

The new Pole Barn is a contemporary Cotswolds wedding venue with dining capacity for up to 120 guests. This impressive structure is geared towards sustainability with its larch frame sourced from trees in the valley, underfloor heating, powered by Air-Source Heat Pump, and huge wood-burning stove powered by Owlpen firewood if you like a roaring fire.

Next door is the Cyder Barn, one of the most historic buildings on the Owlpen estate, built in 1446. Its gigantic oak cruck trusses tower over the room itself, and the majestic cider press adds character and history to this already stunning building.  We regularly hold wedding ceremonies and civil partnership ceremonies for 100 people there.

The historic formal gardens of the manor house are the perfect setting for outdoor Cotswold wedding ceremonies, wedding receptions and lawn games.  They are also an incomparably romantic setting for larger weddings for up to 200 guests in a marquee.
With their centuries-old clipped topiary and box parterres, the gardens provide staggeringly beautiful views across to Owlpen Manor and Holy Cross church, a truly unique spot for your special occasion.
The gardens are a photographer’s paradise: there are so many stunning views, historic buildings and little pockets of beauty for them to draw inspiration from, making Owlpen the perfect exclusive wedding venue if you’re looking for a fabulous portfolio of photographs to remember your special day forever.

Katherine and Adrian: St Paul's Church Cheltenham April 2025

We had the most lovely time today at the wonderful wedding of Katherine and Adrian at St Paul’s Church in Cheltenham.
Katherine looked gorgeous as she walked down the aisle to How Great Thou Art and there was not a dry eye in the house.
After the ceremony we played some Bridgerton music during the canapés before their First Dance Song, Still Into You by Isabella Kensington which Katherine and Adrian had choreographed beautifully.
We then performed some upbeat pop covers to get the party started! We also entered their “Guess the honeymoon” destination and are waiting to find out if we won with the Maldives!
We had such a great time and wish them every happiness for the future!

Kathrine and Adrian say:

“Their true love of music is evident: from creating a beautiful arrangement for our first dance, to the rest of the wonderful set list they put together. They are personable, easy to correspond with and lovely to have around on the day!”
